Hey John! Hello from MN!! Thanks for all the updates! Your pics are just amazing and so fun to see a new t-shirt emerge for this next climb! (I still like the old one though!) I am always in awe of your positive attitude and spirit, which must be so infectious to your other team members. You and your team are always in my prayers as you take on this next challenge. I too am saddened for the Canadian team but it is just a remember of how precious life is and how things can change in an instant, whether on a mountain or anywhere. I wish you joy on this climb of a lifetime but I also wish you safety beyond measure. So many of us are reaching this peak right along with you, from the comfort of our armchairs, but soaring right there by your side, wishing you well, pushing you along for the next step, and saying all the time, “You can do it”, because we know you can! Please keep the updates coming, I look so forward to them! Take care and enjoy every moment!
P.S. I can’t tell you how much fun it is to be able to tell friends about you, your adventurous spirit and determination, and be able to say that I have met you in person! 🙂
There is so much of this that I cannot relate to or fully understand and appreciate your dedication and perseverance. But how do you sleep at 22000 feet on ice and rock? SLEEP WELL. And may GOD be with you and protect you.
John, I was so very sorry to hear about the Canadian climber. Know that he is in heaven now and lifting you and your team mates up. I am praying for his family and for all of you on the mountain. One day at a time, right? Rest up, refuel and know how many people are out here in cyber space cheering you on! Sending you a virtual hug! Blessings…. Lauri
John. Thanks for All the love and positivity that you bring and share with us all and especially with those on the Hill with you truly it is as amazing, vast and seemingly endless as the panoramic views on your way up and back. Thanks so much.
