John and the team have officially left C4 and are pushing for a planned summit tonight between 8-11PM PST. The GPS data has been inconsistent but we will keep everyone updated as news comes in, please keep John and his team in your thoughts and prayers!
You can try following on this alternative GPS map as well.
Jordan, thanks for the new GPS map. I was starting to wonder if the Etch A Sketch people had hacked into the system, but it looks like the team is making good progress. And, with your help John’s adventure is even more exciting for those of us who elected to skip the climb and instead follow along comfortably from our armchairs. It is much appreciated. Many thanks from one of John’s cheerleader aunts, Lisa
Go John, go! We are all glued to the GPSs …you are almost there, God keep you strong to make another of your dreams a reality!
The presentation above definitely helps in giving us a better perspective re the team’s progress!!! John’s lucky to have you as part of his “home-front support crew”.

I too have been following this blog and that of others on the team. I know there has been some technical difficulties with the trackers (all of them) but for peace of mind, and hopefully I’m not stealing anyone’s thunder, I received notification that the team summited at 6:40 AM PKT. Congratulations to all!
John!!! We’re all rooting for you and your team! Sending prayers and good vibes your way! You’re all my heroes! Woo you got this!
Just got the news from your Mom… CONGRATULATIONS ON SUCCESSFULLY REACHING THE SUMMIT!!!! John we are so proud of you and pleased for this major accomplishment, that you have worked so hard for. Congratulations John. Best wishes for a safe trek down the mountain.
Once again you have had us pelting your parents with a million questions and (acting like teenagers) riveted to our cell phones.
